In order to assure proper fit the wearer should measure around the torso
at the level of the stoma while in a supine position (lying on the back)
on a flat surface.
This position will neutralize the distorting effects of a hernia if one
is present.
Using this measurement, select your size from the sizing chart below,
then select your opening size from the 2 choices available.
Available sizes are:
Small 27"-30"
Medium 31"-34"
Large 35"-39"
X Large 40"-45"
XX Large 46"-51"
XXX Large 52"-56"
How to measure for the appropriate pull through
opening size:
The Celebration Belt is
available with openings of 2 3/8" and 2 3/4" for larger pouch systems.
The Celebration Belt will fit either right side or left side stomas and
is an excellent choice for Ostomates with Colostomy, Ileostomy and
Urostomy procedures.
The available sizes of the pull through opening are 2-3/8” or 2-3/4”
In order to determine the size opening needed it is necessary to measure
the diameter of the area where the pouch attaches to the wafer.
In a one piece pouch system the attachment is visible through the pouch.
The measurement is taken by folding up the sides of the pouch and
measuring across this area.
In a two piece pouch system simply measure across the diameter of the
flange that the pouch snaps on.
In either case if the diameter measures 2” or less the 2-3/8” pull
through opening is appropriate.
If the diameter is 2” or more the 2-3/4” pull through opening is to be
ordered.
